1970 Duster heater valve, and engine compartment Placement

Can anyone help confirm if the water heater valve on a 1970 Duster ( 318 w/AC ) has a push/pull style vacuum actuator. My service manual shows a two inlet vacuum system. But the car has only a single vacuum line connection on the valve. Applying vacuum open the valve.

When I bought the car it was just hanging. I can find any pictures where this really belongs. I suspect passenger side near firewall on the inside fender well, but would appreicate it if anyone has a nice engine compartment picture that they could send it to me.

Thanks in advance.

Ron,

Thanks it does help, at least I know now the area it should go. It's odd I don't have any mounting holes in the fender well. I guess who ever had the car before filled them in when they painted it.

Is your valve vacuum activated? Is the silver box on the drivers side firewall the voltage regulator or electronic ignition?

Thanks Sean
