flywheel/converter torque specs?17dartandbroke 07-22-2004, 02:47 PM i do not have a manual, and was wondering what should i torque the converter bolts to, as well as the flywheel bolts? thanks, daryl HawaiiDuster 07-22-2004, 05:07 PM The manual says 55 ft lbs for the flexplate to crank and 270 in lbs for the convertor. But thats for a stock convertor with the 5/16" bolts. If you have a performance convertor you might have the 7/16" bolts. If you have a Mopar Performance convertor you might want to give John Cambridge a call and see what Mopar torque specs are for thoses. 17dartandbroke 07-22-2004, 11:22 PM how do i get in contact with him. it is the mopar 175K that uses the stock flexplate, and the 5/16 bolts. i just replaced all of the bolts while i was in there with some good ones. HawaiiDuster 07-22-2004, 11:37 PM John is a member of this board and he is also the parts manager at Olsen Dodge. You can email him at parts@olsendodge.com or call him at 1-800-397-8401 and ask for the parts department. I think he's also listed in the vendors section. | |||
