OK time for a new build.

I want to look at 2 options.

I have a 383 , I know not that great of a canidate but the price is right. has 906 heads.

If this thing cleans up what do I need to do to get 500 HP out of it. If I can get buy with out stroking it and keep the price down thats the ticket.
This is 68 block .030 over
steel cranks
906 heads.

I want to build this one cheap and then build a Bad AXX stroker later when the fundas are available.

Help me build this BB.

Did I miss something? You just put a new engine in your car?
Hows that going? 4 speed SB right?

yep Just put a built 340 in the duster, then bought a cherry 68 dart 318 car going to tkae the 340 out of the duster and put it in the dart. Got a 383 motor for free going to build it for the duster so it will be a 383 and a 4 speed :D
