Good cause

I'm looking at a flyer that was placed in my car at last nights local cruise-in.
We all get them. Usually promoting another cruise-in but this one is different.
At the top is a photo of a beautiful young girl. The text below reads ;

Hi, My name is Alex Carver. I'm 14 years old and an eigth grader. On July 16th this year we found out I have AML which is a fast growing type of Leukemia :( My family and friends are having a benefit in my honor on Saturday Aug. 15th from noon - until. Th event is held at Country Crossroads Store at the intersection of SC HWY 28 and SC HWY 413 between Anderson and Abbevile.
Bar-b-que plates with beans and slaw will be available at 7 dollars per plate.
There will be a 50/50 drawing for cash and raffles too.

So what if its not a cruise-in , it is for a worthy cause in my opinion.
