I assume most of you are familiar with the 90's version of Vanishing Point.

There is a mistake in the movie that has to do with the Hemi's oil pan when they bring back the new one!

Question: What was the mistake?

It goes by very quick,i noticed it the last time i watched the movie.
For the correct answer you will receive absolutely nothing! :geek:
Or else you can ask the next trivia question! :thumleft:

The oil pan shown on the back of the dirt bike is for a 350 Chevy and not for a 426 HEMI.
There 2 other mistakes that I can think of....Can you name them?

I only saw the movie once, but I caught the oil pan error too. I don't know what the other errors were, please enlighten us. :?

I haven't seen the new one, but on the original, I did notice they used a white Camaro in one part  , that actually made me VERY HAPPY!

So Billy what were the other 2?
Apparently you have stumped the board!

1. Incorret Air cleaner for that model 426 HEMI Challenger
2. He hits a plain with car and kills the mirror, next time you see the car mirror is back on the car.

3. In the original VP a Camaro was the car that hit the dozers.

Originaly the director wanted to make a part 2 to this movie, So he used a Camaro.
This was to lead to the idea that Kawalski got away.
I have a few friends in Hollywierd and got this first hand from them that knew the guy who did the movie.
I also know that a "Dukes of Hazzard" movie is in the works.
And rumor has it a "new" Bullit movie is too.

There bringing back alot of old shows and movies, Look at "Car keys and Clutch" ..... I mean "Starsky N Hutch"

As for the 90's version of VP I think there were even more "flubs", I have it on tape. May have to go back and look at it again.

I have oner the Movie "Tommy Boy" too, With the 67 GTX.
Care to guess what it is?

the fact that a can of oil can keep the hood from closign all the way? i mean, come on...

Ever hear of Joe Dirt? Has a winged warrior. Read an article a while back. Took a nice bird, :puker: and hollywood painted it to look like a piece of rust bucket beater. :pukel: Haven't seen the movie though

Tommy boy there are a couple mistakes.
1.When there at the gas station and he folds the door back against the fender, there not car door hinges look more like hinges from a house door.
2.David Spade says he dropped in a 440 with a 6-pack,if it was a real GTX the smallest engine you could get in them was a 440!
3.When the hood fly's off there are no hood hinges but when they stop the car there are hinges!

Joe Dirt(stupidest movie i ever seen!)
The so called Daytona is actually a Charger with a wing and a nose cone. There was a story on it in MCG a while back.
And the Hemi RoadRunner was actually a 67 Plymouth either a Satellite or GTX,can't remember which.RoadRunner's didn't come out until 68.

Wow Evil your good.

He says he put on a Six Pak intake and when the hood comes off you see a dual air horn 4 bbl air cleaner.
You got the others as well.

The Daytona in Joe Dirt was being built by a guy and was seen by some Hollywood guy. David Spade is a big Mopar freak and was told of this so called "DAYTONA". I believe his reply was "Thats a car Joe Dirt would drive, I want it for the movie". The car was loaned to the studio and returned to the owner later. The owner has since decided not to finish the "Winged" car and has left it as is. Candy wrapers and all still remain on the dash board of the car to this day.

Little bit of info for ya, the back glass filler was a hatch from a Vega to fill the plug. This trick has been done before and is quite hard to tell the differance unless you are a true Daytona guru.

I actually seen the Joe Dirt Daytona at Carlisle a couple years ago.Unfortunately i didn't have a camera with me at the time. They also had a couple of the Chargers from the Dukes of Hazzard including the very first one that had been repainted for a later episode. The car still had the concrete that was poured into the trunk to make the car fly straight.

Ok new question!
In the original Gone in 60 seconds during the chase scene there was an early 70's Mopar wrecked.
What was it and what color was it?
