Keep getting logged out

Its happened a few times now while I'm going through the unread posts. When I go to the forum index I noticed that after reading a couple post I've been logged out. And when I log back in all the unread post have been marked as being read.

same thing happened to me?

i was reading some of the posts and then i found one i wanted to make a reply to and when i did it showed me as a guest. :scratch:

oh well.

One thing to try:

Try removing all cookies & temp files, then close all your browser windows and try it again. You might have a corrupted cookie.

Let me know if that helps.

Also - I just made a change to the cookie configuration, that may help as well. You'll probably have to log in again, though.

Let me know if there's still an issue.

Its still doing it :? It seems to do it when they're lots of pics/graphics involved or when the system seem to be busy and slowing down. It's probably a dial up thing. Could it be that not having a static IP address like most high speed connection is causing the problem? I'm not a computer guru so disregard anything I say that doesn't make sense :geek:

Your on Dial up? man all those pics must be killing you. You should look into cable, it's not much more than dial up, you don't tie up the phone, and surfing the web is ALOT quicker.

Bastards! I pay about a $45 premium over my base cable bill.

Over 60 bucks a month, man with one company over there they got ya over a barrel don't they :( .
In Cali they have different rates for different speeds, and with DSL around too they keep trying to out do each other.
I pay like 58.00 for my Cable but I got the top speed they offer for my area which is 5000 download and 245 upload package, I just did a speed test and got 5833 download and 242 upload! Got to love it when ya get more than they offer :D
