Diesel Exner Valiant yes or no?

Did Plymouth ever build a diesel Valiant in the early 60's either in North America or abroad? I am inquiring for the recent purchaser of one who was told by seller that it may have been one of 5 prototypes. I'm just trying to find out the truth of the matter. Not a lot was paid for the car so that is not an issue. At any rate it is a rather rare car for north america since it is a 61 Val with RHD.
