I removed my rear window,and reused the old rubber last year,
{I cleaned it with laquer thinner while it was out}
when i put a headliner in the 64 Valiant.

I did install new lock trim, that I bought off ebay, it fit ok.
I also put some Peel & Seal under the rear package tray;
and under the rear seat, for sound reduction.

The Peel & Seal is about 25 % of the cost of Dynamat.

I do have two used rubbers and two back glasses. They look pretty bad though (the rubber that is). Thanks for the reply.

I got my window rubbers from Layson's for my 63 a couple years ago. I've gotten numerous things from them and the products have all been good quality. The problem with Layson's is the customer service (or lack there of). BE sure to check and double check you orders when they arrive.

Did you use the $200 dollar rubber one that doesn't have a splice or was it the style that butts together and you gel it together? Just curious to see if you liked how it worked if it was the style that butted together or if it was a breeze with their style that doesn't have the splice. I realize that the one without the splice would be the better one, but I've been stung by Layson's real bad once and no other place sells a rear back glass rubber for an early Valiant. That I know of? Thanks again for your time.

If I can ever figure out how post them!

My files are too big and I don't know how to shrink them.
