Headerscudaj380 05-23-2004, 10:46 PM Any body running w2 eco heads, what primary tube size and type headers are you using? AdamR 05-24-2004, 07:49 AM I think with the W2 heads you would want to run atleast a 1-3/4" primary tube. johncambridge 05-24-2004, 11:36 AM TTi makes them in a 1 5/8" into 1 3/4" step . cudaj380 05-24-2004, 08:20 PM The tti's look really nice but a little out of my budget right now. I have the 1 7/8 MPI headers now and they have been a real hassle, always leaking and I was thinking maybe a little to big on the primaries. I was thinking like Adam on the 1 3/4, but I noticed a lot of guys are running 11's with 1 5/8 tubes with ported x, j and edels. :?: AdamR 05-24-2004, 08:22 PM I would save up till you can afford the TTIs. I know they're expensive but they are worth it in the long run. They fit so much nicer then cheap headers. cudaj380 05-24-2004, 08:56 PM Thanks guys probably the right way to go. EvilScamp 05-24-2004, 09:07 PM I want to get a set of TTI's for my car as soon as i can get the money together.I running Hooker Super Comp. now,i HATE them they don't fit worth shit! The primary's on both sides bang on the torsion bars and cause a vibration through the steering! :x There is NO way to bend them to make them fit better, believe me i tryed :!: pressedham 07-28-2004, 06:47 AM So what would be the best set of headers for a 68 cuda fastback automatic. AdamR 07-28-2004, 06:58 AM TTIs without a doudt fit best and dont hang low. All the other headers pretty much are designed the same and hang down kinda low. If the car sees more track time then street the Hooker super comps will probably make more power though. pressedham 07-28-2004, 11:29 AM Where do i get these headers. Cant seem to find anything on the web. What company makes them. AdamR 07-28-2004, 11:33 AM http://www.ttiexhaust.com/ | |||
