Fuse Block Mounting

I finally got my dashpad back from Just Dashes in Van Nuys, CA. it took like 16 weeks to get back but it finally arrived. I don' t think I have any hair left from pulling it out to figure out this damn tailight problem. I don't care I am putting everything back together,I just won't drive at night for now. My fuse block is just hanging under the dash next to the left side of the steering column. It was like that when I bought it, anyone have an idea how it was mounted under the dash? I can't find any pictures of 70 Dusters under dash photos, and I have not seen any at a show. I also seen a 70 AAR Cuda get auctioned off up in Monterey, CA. The last bid I heard was 55,000. It was super clean.
Please let me know about fuse block mounting.

its mounted on the side, above the plastic trim piece, behind the hood latch cable, by like, one or two screws, its pretty obvious if you look. its not really mounted to the dash, its mounted on the left side, in front of the door but it is concealed by the dash. do you get what im saying? if you dont know exactly, if you look, you should see it. but basically, its not mounted to TO the underside of the dash, its mounted to the left side of the car, underneath the dash...

Thanks, for the info about the mounting area, I am going to start to put the new dash in today. I don't know if the block and harness is going to reach that far over to the area mentioned. I know where your talking about, I think a lot of mechanis tried to diagnose this problem in the past that is why the fuse block is like dangling under the left side of the steering column. The car has a tailight problem.

On my 72 Duster there's a tab on the lower edge of the dash. If you run you hand along the bottom edge to the left of the parking brake handle you'll feel it, or you could just stick your head under and look :D You'll also notice a rectangle block sticking up above the fuses on the fuse block. They'll be a concave hole in the middle of it and the hole on the tab is dimpled up so it fits into that hole. Screw in thru the tab into the fuse block. Hope this helps

I know exactly where your talking about I put the dashboard in yesterday and was scoping out underneatht to find where the hell this thing mounts to. I will look at it again tonite. I am going to a Mopar show on Sunday in San Diego. Hopefully some Dusters will be there so I can see one correctly under the dash.
Thanks, again 8)
