Trans crossmember 63-66 A body?dart4forte 03-29-2006, 03:48 PM Anyone have a picture of the modified trans crossmember allowing for duel exhaust on a 63-66 A body? mopowers 03-29-2006, 04:50 PM Try this site. Lost of good info! http://www.angelfire.com/mo2/radrodder/Dual_Exhaust_Conversion.html cavemanmoron 03-29-2006, 05:14 PM I don't think you need to use that, if your exhaust installer can bend pipes halfway decent. I have dual exhaust 2.25" under the tranny crossmember. I don't hear any "hard times" with normal sized speed bumps. I am not hitting on one nearby speedbump, that I did when I had my 67 Camaro; the headers hit the ground with that. I am using 205/70/r 14 tires, whcih are the same height as my stock 7.00x 13 spare tire. The V8 Valiants came with 7.00x13. 1964 and newer. Keith Mopar 03-29-2006, 07:49 PM This is what I did on my 65 Cuda. With 2.5 inch exhaust it did bottom out on speed bumps, but my car sits low. :thumblef: Here is what I did. First pic is the trans mount, second is of hte frame of the car. dart4forte 03-31-2006, 03:09 PM Thansk guys, that gives me some good ideas | |||
