Exhaust Tipped

Ran into some extra money and goung to replace the entire exhaust system. My tailpipes, 70 Duster 340 curve down before the bumper.
I prefer going straight out the back under the bumper. I want to keep the car original as possible. What were the factory tailpipes curved turn downs or straight out? Any suggestions?

If your duster was a CA delivered car, then any CA sold unitgs had the turned down exhaust. No tips were sold, supposedly so they could meet CA emission requirments. Stupid but true. To keep her CA original if sold that way, you should keep the turned down exhaust. I'm sure she'd look better with the tips, so its you call man. Hope this helps...

If you got the money then definately TTI, like Kev said. They look great and supposed to be a near perfect fit. As for the tips, Straight out like the "Normal" 340 Duster should. Even if yours came with the turndowns because it was a CA car, the regular 340 Duster tips look alot better.

I sold the Hooker headers yesterday, at a car show for what
Ipaid for them, so now I'll just get the complete TTI package
most mopar guys at the show recommended TTI kit from engine
to tail because of the fit.
Thanks for the TIPS guys! :thumrigh:
