My grandparents live in Conowingo. I pass Cecil County Dragstrip when I visit them. I have never been to that track. (Ok, I was there in a stroller, but I can't remember that!)

Where in Maryland are you ? I'm 70 miles from Cecil County Dragway and it's the best place to run and watch, you can't get any closer to the action anywhere ! I'm in Pa. I live 25 minutes from Maple Grove but still will drive to Md. to race.

I live in Parkville (northeast Balt county) and my sons and I race at Cecil most of the time because it real close to my brothers house and he will tow us if we break ! Cecil is about 45 miles from my house and we drive our cars to and from the track. Do you race at Mason Dixon as you are close to it I see ? We also race at Capital once in a while. I would love to get together with everyone at Cecil somtime. My sons and I met Mike at Cecil in April this year but he did not have his car that day. Maybe we could set something up later to meet at Cecil ? Ron

Shame but I will make it a point to go to others when I get my Dart Swinger done. Hopefully next summer it will be done and hitting the drags. We should start a car cruise haha. Hey Leonardtown!

What is the date on the Mopar Eastern Classic?

Also, down in your area, there is a guy named Mopar Mike, who contributes regularly on the www.moparts.com message forums. He has several Abodies?

Do you know him?

Also what about Jim from that area who had the 1969 big block Dart, along with the early '70s B5 Cuda?

All the best...

The Sun City Cruisers have a pretty good Mopar representation here in Rising Sun,MD. They meet at the local American Legion occasionally. I have been to one of their meets a few years ago.

There have also been some good shows at the Big M in Churchville, MD. None of these are specific to Mopar, but you can see a few.

Ma Mopar is well represented in northeastern Maryland with the Chrysler plant in neighboring Delaware. That employee discount on cars and parts is cool!
