The Over The Road Gang is holding their 24th annual car show in Ottawa, KS in a couple of weeks. I am not associated with the club, but I've been attend the show my entire life as a spectator and put my car in it for the last 2 years. It's a lot of fun and there are a fair amount of give-a-ways (mostly chebby, but it has cash value to somebody!).

Anyways, I would love to see some of you out there, and would LOVE to see more mopars in the show. All of the information is on their website. http://olmarais.com/home.htm

I'll have my 72 Dart down there for fun. Red/orange primer. It's not quite show quality but it sparks a lot of conversations and I think a lot of the older guys appreciate seeing a young gun like myself trying to bring a classic back to life! It's got rough interior as well, so if you see it stop by and talk for a minute.

This Monday is Manitoba's Biggest Mopar Show from 11-4, who is coming? We had over 150 cars last year and it was a great day with beautiful Mopars all over the place. Pull up and park your Mopar and enjoy the day, or just some by if you don't have your car and enjoy the day. I would like to see as many FABO guys as possible. Just look for the Dark Copper Metallic Dart, it will be the only one and you shall find me.

Gimli Race Day in Gimli, Manitoba

Went to the Gimli Drags today and watched some wicked races. Good showing of some old and new Mopars and other great cars. Top run was the grey 90's Camaro, it went 9.70 and 198 mph. The Hot Rod was amazing as well. ! was really impressed with the 74 Dart (White one) running a 340, he was winning his trials and beat a 383 easily. The 69 GTS 340 had a rough day hooking up so his times were down. The ski doo racer was neat to watch, only in Canada eh?

Woodward cuise parking Free to members

Hi, I lurk here now and then, my first car was a 68 barracuda notchback, 318 auto, I still miss it! Anyway, I'm not sure if any members are going to the Woodward cruise? I run a pub on Woodward, just north of 11 mile and have some room in my lot for some classics. We kind of figure that it should be like the old days of cruising, where you bought something from the place and got a spot and hung out. I think charging for parking is a turnoff. So anyway, there is the deal, sorry its so late, I should have thought to post it here. I have the front row along Woodward pretty much spoken for if everyone shows up. My lots are located just behind the front row, I have room for some cars still and thought it would be nice to offer it up. If youre interested please let me know. "Cruisin the Coast" along Mississippi's Gulf Coast is set for Oct. 3 to 10. Along with this me and a few friends have "Mopars at the Marina". A very "unofficial" event, picnic, get together, gathering???? Anyway this year free food and soft drinks including Cajun Jambalaya. Thursday Oct 7th in Long Beach - Beach Road at Jeff Davis (Long Beach Maina / Yacht club) We will be there all afternoon, food and drink at 430 PM.

Thursday Oct. 7th during the Mississippi Cruisin' the Coast. It is on again, over 90 Mopars last year. A get together of Mopars, no entry fee, free food and soft drinks while they last. After 4 years of living in NoCal I finally got to check out H.A.N. I spent 8 hours Saturday walking three casino parking lots and the Livestock Center/Swap Meet. The camera battery gave up long before I did but I got plenty of pics of other people's cars. Here's a few of the A-Bodies:

To be honest, I don't think I saw so many Road Runners in one place in one day in my life :shock: Pre-'70 Camaros, Mustangs, Corvettes and Tangelo paint were also well represented.

Not a huge one but it's still a car show. The secong saturday of every month at home depot parking lot in opelika, al (tigertown) at 6 pm on. There arent many mopars so I would love it if bamacuda and you guys could make it! PM ME if yo plan to attend!
