Well im very happy with the way it all turning out, even with limited tools I feel it looks satisfactory.
the snout of the rocker panel is done, so now I can paint it all and start fabricating some floor pans for it.

Great Valiant pick up/UTE! I wish we could get them here. Down under Ma Mopar has a long history of making UTE's- I saw even my 54 Plymouth as a UTE. Chrysler should even now be making them out of current models (Charger?).

Hello NQ, Iv bin into the old girl lately, yeh.
My folder is 2 bits of hard wood and a G-clamp mate, a bit crued but its all iv got.
It looks prety all painted up with KBS 8)

Agreed. A new mopar pick-up in a smaller more manageable size would be killer!

That is some handy work you are doing Tim and looks real good, I will keep an eye on this thread :happy10::happy10:
Thank you for sharing from around the world with me here in Arkansas timopar:happy10:

cool. i actually thought it was a 4 door TURNED into a p/u the redneck way.lol

Wow, i want to get a gto wagon shipped here for my daily driver.lol. And i am not kidding

Sounds like we need a ute (pickup) thread to show you USA blokes what was available over here.
Would there be enough interest?
I'd certainly put the effort in if there was.

Im getting a lefthand floorpan tomorro from a mate, that will finish the floors off.
then I can get into the paint and panel. :toothy10:

Iv painted the inside of the rails and the torkbox so Ill weld the floor in asap.
My house mates are giving me grief about all the noise im making tho,
looks like ill have to find an other place to finish the project :angry7: woman huh.

Timopar- I have said this before, if I had the money I would love to grab a late-60's ute and wagon, import them and convert them to LHD. Then confuse the hell out of people with them. Love alot of the Aussie stuff, you folks seem to do a combination of European style/flair with abit of US influence and V-8 brawn while keeping it uniquely your own. Just gotta respect that.

there are a few cracks at the base of the A-pillars.
I can only think they have come from flex, as the vehicle has been used on
rough terrain and the tork boxes and sills were very rusty.

Iv drill 1/8th holes at the ends of the cracks, so they shouldn't crack again.
