Anyone know anything about these cars?? Looking for other angles of the car as well. Says it has a custom grille, and I'd like to see it, as I also want to do a custom grille for my 67. All I have is this article of sorts and a Wiki page...

There is a guy on the HAMB that has one. I sent him a PM asking about it:

Yes - my '69 is one of the 13 Savage GT Barracuda's built by Auto Craft out of Fond Du Lac, WI (8 of those were 340 cars like mine, 4 were 383's and one was a 440), and it is one of only 4 known to exist. Theses cars were built with some special features including a special hood, front facia, trunk lid, sidepipes, fenderwell headers, special roll bar and more. My car had the front changed in the early 70's and was turned into a race car for most of it's life. Some of the tell-tale signs still exist such as the unique Savage rollbar setup, Savage steering wheel, Savage tailpanel, and fenderwell header cutouts, and sidepipe undercarriage notches to name a few. Very unique, rare and special cars, indeed.

Posting this question because "wish4hemi's" PM box is full!! Anyone else have an answer for me, let me know.
Just wondering if you still own the Savage GT? If so i'm wondering if you know or can you check the A-arms on the Savage to see if there is a tab welded on the front lower side of the A-arms? The tab is about 2-3" X 1/2-3/4". You can just look from under the front of the car. The tab is to the inside of the "A" towards the shock near where the flat spot is for the rubber bumper to hit and bottom out the suspension. Thanks, Dave

A close inspection will reveal how the Savage grille was pieced together with factory grille parts.

A member just started a thread the other day about what appears to be a genuine Savage deck lid that was found in a wreckin yard and is now on his car.
I'd post a link to the thread but I'm on a mobile device.
