Finally not having an operating a body for a decade now just bought something I can drive and fix as I go.

Its originally California car solid body just needs paint and some interior work.

Came with a good drive line
360 380 create magnum
Built manual shift 727
8 3/4 not sure of the gears.

That looks great. It is the same color as the "Violent Valiant" in Mopar Muscle magazine.

You will like that drive train, from personal experience. Nice find!

And a great price too :) Congrats, I have been watching that lil 68 for a week or 2. Way to go! It looks solid!

I thought it was gonna be fairly ruff from the pics blew me away when I saw it.

Definitely be the fastest car I've ever have driven so far.

In 20 years he's put less than 5000 miles on that on the car and half that on that engine.
It's got 38000 total.

Right on!! Happy for you! Safe drive and feeling nice :)

Woodie

She made it home even though I realized half way in a 3 hour drive she wasn't charging much or at all. Looks like I'm gonna have to go through its wiring seems a little butchered and theres a few immediate problems to deal with but is a great foundation especially for what I paid. Overall very happy with its first journey.

Performance wise it needs gears the 360/380 hp create engine with manual shift 2800 stall 727. Needs to drive in 2nd through town speedso. Anything under 30 mph is a must to down shift and found my self down shifting at 35 mph. Engine is a little soft under 2000 rpm. Think it has 2.94 would like to step it up 3.91.

My youngest kid has a 68 Valiant signet slant 6 car... We are going to convert it to a 360....

Nice car, i have a '69 2 door post that i plan on getting on the road this year.
I bet it gets over 20 smiles per gallon with the 360..........

Ya I was a little disappointed with the power until I realized 1st gear at 40 mph and full throttle works nice. That's how under geared it is i can drive around in 1st at 40 mph no problem.
