Always a Can-O-Worms!!!! Probably will be a combination of two things. A little more trim, and move the centering hole a little as stated above^^^.

These freakin tire are not cheep. Have to do something before I can drive it again!!!

O AND, while bleeding the rear brakes, I find out the guy who installed the brakes on resto, connected the rear brakes to the reservoir that is supposed to feed the front brakes on the master cylinder!! He connected it backwards!!! And of course, the fittings are different sizes. So I can't just change positions.

Funny tho, the brakes work ok! Wilwood on the front.

Think I can machine 1/4 off the inside, mounting surface of the wheel? Weaken it too much?

I haven't yet. This is the first year in Indiana that we can hunt with high power rifles since the 1920s. , there are some limitations by caliber but Grendel is on the allowed caliber list for this year. Our limitations are a .243 diameter bullet and a min/max case length of 1.16/3.0 inches. Grendel specs out to a .264 bullet and a 1.52 case length. And I'd see the game warden coming long before he'd see me.

It's built very well and it'd take the rain just fine. but I dont wanna get it wet.
I use an old Faithful gun. I bought my Remington Model 722 257 Roberts when I was old enough to hunt. The old girl has killed many o deer and other critters.

This started by changing out the axles and brakes, to get rid of the no longer available 1 1/2 brakes.
Might it be worth a few calls to brake companies. Its the same casting as the SBP, so maybe they' would drill the drums for BBP. I suppose with a mill and a fixture you could have the SBP redrilled. Fred Puhn shows racers doing crazier drilling in drums - right though the contact surfaces.

A big company like Centric would probably shrink from doing any custom work, but maybe Stoptech or places like Portefield or Rochester Brake & Clutch that deal with racers as a primary part of their business. They may not do it as they focus linings but they probably know places or people that do.

We already have transracial people here. Had um for years but we don't advertise them.

Wow interesting morning at a FBBO members house, went to help with a dist tester and checked out his stuff.
