Nice cars. That 74 dart sold for a real fair price.

I agree with you on that one, although it was advertised on stage with rear air....LOL

Not many cars go thru the auction block at BJ for $6K. Looked like some of the panels had been repainted and didn't match perfect, but I'm no expert. Inside of the car looked nice and original..bench seat, column shift.

Here is a view of the tents where most of the cars are displayed....

The high $$$ cars are in a different "Main" tent which is part of the "Auction / Bidding tent".....Friday thru Saturday bidding mostly.

There are plenty of high dollar cars in the regular tents, but maybe they aren't in the loop (group) just like everywhere....?

Warren Johnson's car....in the "for sale" tent. I think asking price was $115

How much do you think Mr. Norm will go for? I bet not a single car sells for over $500,000 this year Friday 11pm and nothin over 200 yet. WHAT A CRASH now us normal working people can afford cars again.

The last picture is a live big screen of the bidding tent on the grounds of the auction.

I think final selling price on this car was 18K.....:clock:

Bet is on Bronx...it's really very early yet.....Saturday is a day and a $ away........many nice cars in the "BIG" tent that were almost impossible for me to photograph...pretty crowded on Thursday.

I tried to buy Mr. Norm, but he said no....:bootysha:

Thanks for the pix and reporting on the auction. Looks like a great way to spend the weekend. I just walked the dog and its about 5 degrees here in NJ. Yea, fun...

If a '75 duster sells for 35k...'70-'71's are worth 100k......

Actually very nice Duster....35K not worth it for me & overpriced.....but maybe for someone who wants this bad...... =P~....and has the coin.

There is a "butt" for every seat right? :dontknow:

Thanks for posting those pics, looks like it would be quite the experince, maybe one day.....
AL

You're Welcome and thanks for enjoying them.

Yes...quite the experience...even though we go every year it is still a Thrill,

Kewl pics bet that was all the good mopars, course you can always buy a 100k camaro lol. The car I'd have likeed to have was Carrols Shelby's 69 GT500.

Hey 6pac2goDemon today isnt looking much better. Maybe I can finally afford that brown slant 6 four door 75 dodge dart I always wanted. My neighbor watched barret jerkson 4 years ago and saw the "same exact car" go for $180,000. LoL Yes Im being sarcastic.

Sweet 71 Cuda.....There were alot of E-Body cars here, but I only took pix of a couple......This one obviously caught my eye :toothy10:

what does it cost ya to get in? real cool pics. you going sunday?

Thx kitcar...It was $30 on Thursday for entry. Gives you access to everything but the seats near the stage. Those are for people with a "bidders pass" which I was told cost $500 big ones. Friday & Saturday entry tickets are more...I think $50. It gets soooo crowded on the weekend, it's not fun unless you are there in the early morning...LOL

And no, not going on Sunday....Have a little football game to watch....:snorting:

Actually, could easily spend 2 or 3 days to really experience everything available. Tons of vendors, cool cars, live "drifting", and did not mention the eye candy for both sexes. :bootysha:

Disneyland for cars is the best way to describe it...... And "please" no mickey mouse jokes....LOL

Here is a "very special" 66 Dart that was owned by one of our FABO members. Cheers to a super A-Body :cheers::cheers:
