    Hello:

I accepted you as a friend. Hope it worked?

When I had my 66 Dart when I was a kid. I helped Clayton B. Wright with his 1970 Hemi Cuda Slo-Motion car. We were good friends. I had to sell my car to go to college and we parted ways. I went to Vegas to go to school, and Butch raced. They were fun days in the pitts at Englishtown, NJ and Atco, NY and a strip in Canada which I don't remember.

    Hello!

Nice car. I had a 66 Dart Charger or Commando, not sure it was in 1969. But I am needing help. My 66 Dart had a 273 4 bbl, 4 speed, 8 3/4 rear end sure-grip. I received an information packet from Mopar on the "what to do's" to make a 273 run. First I put a good clutch set up. The factory was a three spring piece of junk. Then I put a 4:89 gear. Next I put factory recommended heavy valve springs and went from 5200 rpm's to 6000 rpm's. And, of course, fender exit headers. I ran M&H ripple wall slicks with 12 pounds of air at the strip and a little more air on the street. My car ran real good. In fact I rarely was beat in the 1/8 mile but the last 75 yards of the 1/4 mile big blocks would catch me.
Now, I have a 66 Dart GT auto trans. I thought that it would have a 727 trans and an
So, if you can assist I would really appreciate the information.

    Sincerely,
    Art Clark III
