Think truck stop for 1156/1157 bulbs. I found some at the local spot for less than $1 each. Sure beats paying $6-$8 if they even have them at the parts store.

I had this issue once the car was painted. Take a close look at the opening. They came out of that opening, right? Check for the build up of primer and paint and if needed carefully sand/file the opening just to remove the excess coating.

I would recommend spraying epoxy rather than the old school self-etching primer, just my 2 cents. You CAN use etching primer or something like OSPHO, but I feel epoxy does a far better job and loves heat. You have options, now figure out what's best for you and your situation and get at it.

The small washer looks as if it may have been dropped and it just landed there. Regardless, I'm with Al on this one.

I think you have to consider any unknown condition (supposedly ran when it was pulled, been sitting for a long while, etc.) engine as a core. Without proof that it runs and runs well, you should consider that it does not. Sometimes we see complete engines sell for less than bare blocks due to...
