My name is Matt Clark, I am currently living the Houston, TX area. In 2014 I bought this 1965 V8 Plymouth Barracuda to share with my dad before he passed away. . I found this forum and learned so much from all of the members. In 2016 I decided to customize the car and compete in the Summit Racing International Show Car Association / Autorama/ World of Wheels series around the US and Canada. In 2018 I "completed" the car and we traveled to 5 shows (Houston, Chattanooga, Shreveport, Birmingham, Tuepolo) and won our first International Class Championship (Consertive Hardtop 60-69) with the car in 2018-2019 season. In the summer of 2019 I decided to "re-complete" the car (as it has been in constant state of improvement). I did a complete reboot of the underside of the car and shaved the underbelly down smooth, and added lots of chrome and painted accents. We moved up to a harder class "Mild Hardtop, all years" competed again and won our second class championship by entering 6 shows, Houston, Cincinnati,Dallas, Shreveport, Kansas City, and ultimately won our second class championship and made it to the ISCA Category Finals at the Chicago World of Wheels (we were one of 6 cars that qualified in the custom category, and were the only MOPAR represented ). What a joy it has been to travel the country with the car, meet people especially MOPAR fans and specifically A-Body fans. I appreciate so much the friendships I have made on this forum, and for the help I have received from the members. I wish you all good health and hope we all get to enjoy our family, friends, and cars for many years to come. Here is a video of the car in it's current state at the 2020 Salt Lake City Autorama in March. Ihttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DQi8shXiqwY
Wishing ya'll good health and happiness to enjoy with your family, friends, and fellow MOPAR A-Body lovers. Thank you for helping others to keep A-BODY's on the road! Matt.
