The edelbrock rpm was on sale back in July for $318 the low deck variety I snag one up. Still more expensive than the knock offs. But I would look around on market place I see RB version intakes cheap all the time.
Brought home the Duster same time last year. Done lots to it while my Barracuda basically sat. Recently finished the interior, not perfect but turned out great for a driver.
Working on fixing up a 67’ intake/exhaust manifold because the 71’ intake has that pesky open stove choke in the exhaust...
Add a bug deflector on the hood and a tonneau cover on the bed for that nascar wind tunnel effect. that brick house will drag some air with her. J/k! Be worth a test
Also there are both new edelbrock and trick flows big block heads coming out for 2026 those 295 trick flows are going to be something if it’s in your budget.
DGrace I’m going follow along I’m in the same situation. 400 block standard bore I have the steel eagle 4.150” crank. Headmen b body headers and a edelbrock dual plane intake. I need everything else the rods and pistons likely will be the 440 source stuff. I joined the facebook page 500 inch...

I haven’t seen it mentioned had you tried making adjustments on the accelerator pump cam. You said at 1/8th throttle to me that’s about when the accelerator pump kicks in no? To compensate the transition. Could be an octane issue but to me it sounds more of an a/f ratio problem. If every where...
oh yeah! Your going 14’s my guess is (14.2)
floating valves on the big end like a champ. Do your home loving on the bowls and a hasty back yard back cut on the valves with the heads off. True hot rod gritty fairy dust and prayer 14.2
In a way I’m kinda wishing I kept it, at the time I was thinking I would then said no, I hang onto enough **** and pitched it. Oh well there goes history I guess.
I purchased Crackedbacks relay kit and it’s as advertised a quality upgrade, it took very little time to deliver and I install it same day up under the battery tray, the relays and 30amp fuses are very accessible with how it’s mounted and not visible unless you know where to look. Rob sends...
