I will try the working aftermarket sender that I replaced with this latest one. It’s out of the car so I can easily ground it and hook it up to the connection wire to see how it works. It reads 10 - 73 ohms as I run it through the full arm swing range.

I think the connector is good. I cleaned it up and closed up the crimp to make firm contact. I think my oil pressure gauge may be shot. I was able to perform a conductivity test from the sending unit to the pin in back of the dash. I did find a bare spot where the insulation had worn away...

I took steel wool and got rid of the tarnish and insured good connectivity throughout. That’s why I soldered the pins because one was not making contact.

Thanks for the response. So that is the problem I’m having. The tests I’ve done on the fuel system show the fuel gauge, IVR, sending unit and ground are all good. Wherein does the problem lie? Is there a separate ground on the rally dash that could be missing? I did not test the oil pressure...
