It's kind of a mopar...2017 Cherokee starting system issue

Both batteries under front seat. As far as I know not a police vehicle, she got it with fairly low miles. As I understand it, has to do with the start/stop feature of turning off engine at stop lights. Dash lights and everything runs through the little battery

Found it I think. There’s a fuse block under the jumper cable connector. One blown. Think it’s a 80a fuse but you have to replace the whole block. Heading to the pick and pull tomorrow and grabbing one. As always, appreciate the fast responses!!

It's kind of a mopar...2017 Cherokee starting system issue

Daughters car, 2017 Jeep Cherokee. She lent it to a friend, so excuse if I don't have all the information. Apparently it would not start for him. He tried jumping it, and apparently was hooking the cables to the small start/stop battery under the pax seat instead of the jump start terminals...

    Holley sniper efi

I have Sniper in a 408, really like it. I’m told someone that really can tune a carb can do better but that’s not me. A bunch of learning during install and initial tunes. But uploading a new tune file takes 20 seconds, if I don’t like it 20 seconds to change it back. Right now it’s way better...

    Removing my 273 engine

Do what works for you, but once you do it from below it’s pretty simple. Even more so reinstalling. Back wheels strapped onto ramps, put some weights on the lift, but front of car is pretty light with nothing up there

    Steering coupler

don’t consider myself lazy but I did. Those tabs are a pain to get crimped on tight, and if it comes off while column is in the car it’s worse. Has held it tight for years.

    Fuel injection

Holley sniper on mine. Was a learn as I go project, took a while to shake out. I wrapped the wires in faraday tape and grounded one end, easy to do while sitting on the bench rather than in the car after you discover problems. RFI seems to be the biggest issue. LOT of help on Sniper forums...

Best Gears for a 408 Stroker?

I have a 408, both 3:23 and 3:73 gears. The 3:23’s are more street friendly but it loses a lot of the snap. I don’t drive hiway much so use the 3:73’s. There’s calculators online where you can punch in gear ratios, tire size etc to see if 3:55’s rpm would work for you. That’s probably what I...

The shorter 340 ones? There are other ones about 4-4.5” long, Vans has them.

    70 Duster 340 Seat Medallions

I talked to Dave Layson at Mopars in the Park last summer and mentioned no one makes them. He said if I could get him one(which Keith 66340sedan had brought for me).he would look into making them. Talked to him a couple weeks ago, he thought he would have them later this month. So give Laysons a...

    Timing cover seal

So when ordering new seal, if it’s the second one tell the counter guy at autozone a 76 360 or something? It did have a fuel pump and timing marks are on the drivers side.
