Well I checked all of the items recommended, checked connections, starter, etc. Found no definitive issue, so I tried to see if it would start. Fired right up, drove 15 miles , start and stop , and no problem at all. I'm going to guess maybe a loose connection or wire. But thank all of you...

It does have Petronix Electronic distributor set up. But I figured the ignition switch would least let it crank the starter. I'll try some of these recommendations and see what happens. Thanks for your input and help!

It's a 4 speed and I don't remember seeing a fuseable link when I overhauled the engine.

I was stopped at a light, engine idling fine, got ready to go, engine popped through the carburetor, died, and tried to restart but no response from the starter. key turns on and oil light comes on but no cranking or nothing with the switch. Can anyone help with an idea as to what happened?

my problem is here locally I am not aware of anyone who is proficient in transforming the 9" to fit properly. I'm sure someone can, may contact local car clubs and see if they have a recommendation. Thanks for your input!

What I would like to find is a good original 7 1/4 Mopar rear end with posi unit, but that's probably not out there. that would keep it original and bolt right in.

Well considering I'm not an inventor like you, by the time I made 4,329 molds, it would be cheaper for me to have someone like you make one and it would be better! :rolleyes:

I'm impressed with your projects! I do have interest in you console for my '65 Barracuda with stock Hurst 4 speed. Could you make a console for it?

Thanks for your feedback and info! The previous owner evidently installed a 1967 273 block for unknown reasons, but stock heads for the '65 273. We discovered the block was bored .40 over with regular pistons, heads were milled, and a new valve job. The crank had been turned to .10/.10 and a...
