    Hughes converters

Sounds like a pretty decent deal, rmchrgr. Shame it is for a 904 and I've got a 727.

    Hughes converters

Would a 2500 or 3000 be better for a stock '70 340 duster? Want something to perform at least as good as it did back when it was new. Present converter is a $50 stock low low stall. Might be 1200 rpm.

    Hughes converters

$895 for an Ultimate and $695 for a Dynamic. PTC was out to lunch when I called. $400 for a 3000 Hughes and $311 for a 2500 Hughes.

    Hughes converters

Anyone have anything to say about Hughes converters? Looking at one for my dad's 340 Duster. I have a Fairbanks 3000 in mine, but they no longer exist. He needs a little more stall than what he presently has with a generic stock low stall replacement of about 1200. Was looking at either a...

Thanks. This was my second time at music city also. Dad and I brought both of ours both times. His was the black 340 duster with red interior. Dad talked to the owner of the Twister, for a long time last year, about your show in Orleans. We might try and make up down on Friday next year and...

    Need help!

Yes, bench bleed all air from master. Calipers are original to car with bleeders on top. They are the single piston type mounted to the front of rotors. Had good brakes with old master. New unit has problems. Was wandering if anyone else had problems with these new cardone master cylinders...

    Need help!

Even though I'm getting good flow from front and rear and my brake light is not on? I thought maybe the proportioning valve, but I don't see any way to reset it like the older ones with a plunger pin.

    Need help!

Needing some help here. I had a master cylinder go bad after 21 years. It started leaking out the rear of it. I could fill the reservoir and had great brakes but after it sat for a few weeks, it would be low again. I replaced this master cylinder with another remanufactured unit, which...

What's it cost for general admission. I went last year, but I had free tickets that I got from gunbunny. Don't have any this year, do you gun?

I already have. I'm running a spread-square adaptor because of factory intake/holley setup. On top of that is a thick 1/4" gasket then a holley heat shield. I'm running a 3310 holley with 70 jets in primary. Timing is 18 initial, 36 mechanical @2000, and 50 total mechanical and vacuum. Runs...

Wants to boil gas in carb causing hard starts. Also starts surging while at red lights. Doesn't seem to do this with a/c off. When in the upper 90's it will climb to 220-230 with a/c on. Would an aluminum radiator help?

Anyone had any dealings with the radiators from speedcooling.com? They list a 22" and a 26" radiator for small block. My 74 360 duster came out with a 26" radiator. Since I installed a/c, it wants to run warm on a hot day when I'm using it. The radiators they list dont list what bodies they...
