Would a 2500 or 3000 be better for a stock '70 340 duster? Want something to perform at least as good as it did back when it was new. Present converter is a $50 stock low low stall. Might be 1200 rpm.

$895 for an Ultimate and $695 for a Dynamic. PTC was out to lunch when I called. $400 for a 3000 Hughes and $311 for a 2500 Hughes.

Even though I'm getting good flow from front and rear and my brake light is not on? I thought maybe the proportioning valve, but I don't see any way to reset it like the older ones with a plunger pin.

Wants to boil gas in carb causing hard starts. Also starts surging while at red lights. Doesn't seem to do this with a/c off. When in the upper 90's it will climb to 220-230 with a/c on. Would an aluminum radiator help?
