I already replaced the alternator with a square back and grounded the second (lower) field to the body of the alternator case. The car is a 67 Belvedere. low deck stroker. still has the factory wiring.
so should I just run a wire from the top field of the alternator to the VR? to see if...
i have been reading some of the older and other threads about this topic. None of them are the exact scenario. so here goes.
I recently had the engine out of a 67 Belvedere . it took a lot longer in the engine shop and by the time I put it back in the wiring was not in recent memory.
anyway...

and do either of them come with the pump?
anything my family has ever built we used the stock style pump...
looking for a deep sump pan for my 400 block into my valiant with /6 k frame and schumacher mounts. also I am using a main girdle and windage tray. should I just get the center deep sump from 440 source? will it need modified? or can I buy one somewhere else ready to go?
thanks that is awesome already got a fuel cell and fuel pump. did them in seperate orders cause they were both over 200 individually. so it works more than once. wonder how long this sale is on??
