    Alterkation oil pan

I like the small block headers, they fit nice. My only complaint is having to remove the headers the get the oil pan off - They go right up under the pan rails, so no way to pull the pan otherwise.

Yea I remember. At the time I didn't know about that deeper version, kinda weird they have two pans so similar.

Yes I had the 36 on here myself and it fit. I like 31590 best, it does require a tiny nip off the power rack mount, but it's a simple thing.

Joe sent me this link, I couldn't find an email, maybe it went to my spam. Anyway, I use summit G3535, Milodon 30936 or Milodon 31590. Other brands of stock replacement might also fit but since the summit 3535 is so cheap that's the only one I've used.

Best ifs kit? rms, hdk, gt suspension, or magnum force?

A few things… First, if customer service is based on forum activity, consider this – forabodiesonly, forbbodiesonly, forebodiesonly, bigblockdart, moparts, lat-g, pro-touring, dodgecoronet, cuda-challenger, protouringmopar, yellowbullet, facebook-personal, facebook-rms, twitter, instagram...

    AlterKtion - True Pro-Touring Suspension

On the RHD, you're screwed for headers - all of them on the market take up all the space on the right side of the engine in an a-body. You're better off to just avoid the disappointment of modifying $800 headers, and just do custom ones down there once you have all the steering connected.

Mustang II spindle, which is just the simplest front-steer spindle with the most brake options. But in this case, the drop spindle he's using is the Wilwood pro-spindle, which is loosely based on the MII so it's mostly interchangable for his needs.

Although this plan is still a million times simpler than a full chassis, be aware beforehand what all this will entail - if you raise the rack 2", you'll also have to raise the engine 2" to keep it off the floor, which you'll also have to raise the trans 2", the exhaust 2", the rear 2"...all...

None taken :-) I thought it wise to explain though, I don't want anyone to think I have an attitude or anything, we're just really busy is all.

    RMS AlterKation

Hi guys, Joe sent me a text about this post, so I wanted to chime in... We're definitely here, 7 days a week lately. November to March is really busy here, and this year we put an addition on the shop which has me in 50 different directions as well. The biggest problem with getting me is that I...

Well, the trade off is that moving it forward screws up oil pan and header clearances. Some people don't mind modifying those things, but most just aren't equipped to do it, so we keep everything in the easiest location. Moving the rack forward would fix that, but steering geometry would then...

While I'm thinking of it... The engine setback is the factory bellhousing location. I did this so all the headers, factory tranmissions, and kits would fit as intended. On request, we can move the engine forward or back as you wish, but the default is stock location.

Not to highjack, but the headers in the picture above are the 1.75" ones that capture the starter. I did that prototype in 06 and tried to also have them fit stock suspension. The 2" ones I did for only our stuff and I moved more tubes around. They make you run the steering shaft through the...

    AlterKtion - True Pro-Touring Suspension

Actually, the more I think about it, the more I think anti-dive wouldnt matter much on the street, just because most people dont stress a car enough to matter on a public road. With a 17" rim, 8" wide/5.70bs is about the limit to clear the tie rod and fender, which I like to mate with a tire...
