    Potatoes anyone

You forgot to include small chopped green peppers and/or some canned mushrooms. I loved when mom made these. :)

Any Sleep number bed owners here?

The wife and I have tried all sorts of different mattresses to try to find something that works. The Tempurpedic was the most comfortable but they only last a few years before collapsing in the hip area. We are now using a mattress from a company called Reverie. It was kind of pricey, but we are...

    [WANTED] Big block engine cradle

Interesting. I have a spare oil pan so I'll have to try this out and see if it will work for a big block. I have the low profile Milodon pan with the bump outs but I'm sure I could come up with a work around if they are too wide.

    [WANTED] Big block engine cradle

I am looking for an engine cradle for a big block. I need to ship a long block cross country so if you have anything that fits the bill, please PM me. Thanks, Brewzer

    1 bolt & 3 bolt cams

From someone who had a freak bolt failure on a single bolt setup, I would never go with a single bolt again. They're ok to use if it is what you have, but if buying a cam and chain, I would always go with a 3-bolt.

Carb suggestion for a 512 with trickflow 270's

I'm running a BLP billet 4150 from Thumper carbs and it is much better than the 850 Demon I was running before. I'm still sorting it out as it is a little rich at cruise but Dom and I are working it out and he has been super helpful.

Full manual valve body forward pattern?

Yeah, I got that same response when I bought my valvebody from him. I told him my wife had a hard time driving the car with the reverse pattern because she couldn't get it to neutral easily if she needed to when she brought the car to a stop. He told me she needed to stop being a girl and learn...

Trick Flow 440 heads, The Real Deal?

I am not sure what the difference is between yours and mine but you do have the correct one. Those are the same measurements I get for mine. Odd that you have the large gap and I do not.

Trick Flow 440 heads, The Real Deal?

I would disagree that that is the plate for an RB. I have one on mine with the 270's and it fits almost flush to the heads. If you want to measure yours corner to corner and let me know what it is I can check that against mine and see. With that big of a gap I would be worried about the RTV...

EFI help for a carb - New product from K&N

Posted at FBBO also... While getting my daily car reading in I found this: New: Tame Your Carb’s Idle & Drivability With K&N’s ECI Plate! - Hot Rod Network It's basically a mini EFI setup to fine tune your carb's mixture. For carb guys that can't get it quite right this lets you tune...

What is it called & where can I get another?

I have a set of these and use them on almost every job I do. They are great for those times when you want to finger tighten something initially but the threads are a little buggered up.

    Intake gasket opinions

Mike converted my Hughes rockers to cup adjusters when he made my correction shims for my Trick Flow 270's. I now have oiling from the MRL lifters through the pushrods just for the adjusters, and I still oil the shafts through the feed from the cam. I am hoping this is a good compromise to using...

[WANTED] BB 383 chrysler offset bolt hole rocker shafts.

I saw your other post on this. You absolutely need to contact Mike on this and have him walk you through it. You need to make sure that the shims go on in the right direction as well as on the pedestal they were designed for. Anything less and you wasted your money and will have problems. I have...

Getting the geometry correct on roller rocker position?

Give Mike a call back and he can walk you through it. The two shims with the slots go on the rocker stands that feed the oil (one on each head). The shims look like you have them on backwards. The roller tip should not be that far out on the valve.
