[WANTED] Mock up big block wanted

I have a few big blocks laying in the shed. I just don't want to wrestle the heavy bastards around during mock up.

[WANTED] Mock up big block wanted

Does anyone have a molded big block for mock up that they want to sell or rent for a while? Preferably a B block but RB will work. Figure I would ask here before I buy a new one.

Looking for 74 Dart sport sheet metal

I am looking for sheet metal for my 1974 dart sport. I need the trunk floor pan, trunk extensions, and a LH front floor pan. Year One is 14-16 weeks out for sheet metal. Where is a good place to buy these pieces? Does anyone have anything laying around that they would want to sell?

    Christmas came early

3.23's are what I have currently. Once the car is on the road and I see how it drives I will probably do a swap. Not sure if I will go to 3.55, 3.73, or possibly 4.10 depending on how it drives and cruising rpms.

    Christmas came early

Yes sir, it is the TKX. Doesn't seem like there is much cutting involved. I will find out this winter and update as I go.

    Christmas came early

Tremec 5 speed conversion kit for my 74 Dart Sport showed up yesterday. Can't wait to get the car on the road one day. Putting a mild built 383 in front of it with a 8 3/4 3.23 suregrip out back. Should be fun to drive.

    Bought another project

Purchased a 1974 Dart Sport today. It has a 318 auto in it now. Not sure what direction I'm going to go with this build. Probably just get it on the road for now and see what happens. Going to need interior parts if anyone has extras they want to sell.

    Roller rocker hitting aluminum head???

Agreed. If this was a prostock motor I guess I would be a bit more picky. This is a street motor that won't see over 6,000rpm ever. I don't think the geometry is going to make or break this motor. I bet you would be hard pressed to find a factory Chrysler motor that had perfect valve train...

    Roller rocker hitting aluminum head???

I actually read his tech articles after I started this thread. I will call him Monday morning. Thanks.

    Roller rocker hitting aluminum head???

You're talking about putting shims under the rocker shafts right? I guess I didn't think of that.

    Roller rocker hitting aluminum head???

Anyone else ever have an issue with aluminum roller rockers rubbing on the pedestal on Edelbrock aluminum heads? The rockers are 440 source's roller rockers, heads are Edelbrock RPM. Still doing mock up so I only have one head on so far but the rocker for the exhaust on the #7 cylinder is...

    Help with LED halo lights

This might be a dumb question but are you grounding the body of the head light when you test them?

    512 stroker for the street??

The motor was originally rebuilt in the mid 80's. The block was bored to .030, the cylinders have some taper so it will be honed to .040 to clean it up. The crank needs to be ground and polished and the rods need to be reconditioned so stroker seemed like the way to go. The iron heads need a...
