Thanks Dave. Mine has disc's so it may be the larger booster. As soon as my new shop is done I'm going to shut the car down for some front end work and wiring. I might try to do the booster myself if the parts are available. Looks easy enough to remove which made me wonder why the whole setup...
Not yet. Been building a house the last year or so and it's really been consuming. None of my cars have gotten much attention this year to include driving. That's going to change I hope. Hell, I've got a few grand in oarts for my 66 buick build just sitting in the trunk.........what a shame.
thanks, I'm having a hard time understanding why they always want to sell me a booster/mc combo rather than just a booster. Thought about sending it to Booster Dewey and just get it done. Idle goes stupid every time I hit the brakes and the peddle acts like I have no power brakes. Still stops...
my booster seems to have taken a crap on my 69 Dart. I always see boosters for sale WITH master cylinders but very seldom do I find them without. I found a guy who sells them but he says there's a couple of different boosters for my car. I have no idea how to identify the booster. Looks like a...
if you can get a little more info and way to contact him I'll do what I can Rich. I'll try to grab you some better pictures of it and anything else he might have to document what he has. Not a problem for me as long as it's not a reserve military weekend for me. I'm usually off work around 1500...
Nobody hurt thankfully. It burned my parts car and got his old coronet he was building as a fat-tire pro street car from. All started from a propane heater that didn't get turned off all the way. Make your shops safe folks.
Sorry to say this but the shop the car was/is in had a fire due to a propane heater last night and it may have destroyed most of the dart. Between the fire, the smoke and the water it looks like most of it is ruined. I managed to get some chrome from it and a few other pieces for my car but I'll...
all I could find to do with mine today was to drive it..........oh, ran the A/C so I know it's working good. Heater a week ago, A/C today..........life on the gulf coast!
