Am confused over this all. Am going to try to use a 500 and keep it simple. Can't seem to find out info as to engine/ tranny connection. Which flex plate flywheel works with this combo.
Back in the mis 70s I worked for the company that built them and they were all powered by industrial chrysler slant sixes until they went to a Russian built engine in the eighties.

Looked at it again. Lots of great info especially on u joints, even showed pictures of the shock mounting plates but not one word about using or modifying them. The search continues
I'm trying to put a 97 explorer 8.8 dif into my 67 dart. I'm using the explorer flanges because the differential is too thick to use the Dart plates. The shock mounts are angled on the Explorer and I'm wondering if mods are needed to them or should I be looking for something else.
These are off a dart I just bought. I was told they were for a GT. They're are in pretty decent shape. I have no idea what they're worth so could use some help in deciding value.

I'd thought about it but was wondering how its done originally. There's no way the reproductions are done by hand. I was wondering if where the black is recessed that the whole thing isn't painted and then the ridges buffed.
I'm looking at redoing the trim on my dart but before I start buying the tools I was wondering how you restore anything (grill headlight trim etc) that has black in the recessed part of the trim. The same goes for the interior plastic dash trim that has recesses in it. Any info would be...
