You need to check the distance I just bought a cold case with the electric fan and did not have enough distance for it to fit. You need at least 6 3/4 inches for it to fit or a little more had to send mine back to jegs.

I got the borgeson box and love it. I did cut 1/2" off my shaft but after I found out there is a coupling that will work with it so you don't have to cut the shaft. It is in one of the threads on here.

The only problem I had was one header pipe was hitting . I am running dougs headers 1 5/8. I tried to dent the header but was not able to. I put a 1/4" shim under the driver side motor mount it worked out fine. I love the gearbox like driving a new car.

Had the same problem with my 68 cuda . I checked everything under the car all was tight. Then tried to adjust the steering box no luck . Bit the bullit and got a borgeson box from summit. The car now drives like a new car.

Wonder how much porting they will take and what number you can get too.

I got my new borgeson steering box installed. It is like day and night in the handling. I jacked up motor on driver side and pulled old box out from the top after pulling the header. I had to shim the motor mount 1/4" to get some clearance with the dougs headers. Cut 3/4" off the steering shaft...

Take a propane torch and heat the old pump where the fitting screws in and it should come out.
