[WANTED] 73-76 A body bucket seats

I may have what you need; however, I live in Northern California and I am not willing to ship the items. I have had too many bad experiences trying to ship large items and it's not worth the hassle to me. So, if you have plans to visit California or know someone in the area willing to buy them...

[FOR TRADE] 73 Buckets and Seat Covers for 72 Bucket and Rear Seat Covers

Hey Guys, I have two front bucket seats (with tracks) from a 1973 Plymouth Duster. The upholstery is worn; however, it is not destroyed and is in usable condition as is. The old upholstery has some splits and should be recovered. A full rebuild should be done for show quality, but I have a new...

    Trouble finding seat covers

Check the Legendary Interiors catalog online. This looks like the same bench seat design I have in my 1972 Plymouth Scamp. Be sure to measure the headrest height before ordering. I think the options were 7" or 9", but it's all described in their catalog. Worst case, call them up and tell them...

    2-Barrel to 4-Barrel Conversion

So what's it going in? Keep the story going, I'm eventually going to do this on my 318 2 bbl, and I'd like to hear what you run into. What carb. are you going load the old LD4B with?

    Making it a better driver

If you're not happy with the slant six and you don't want a street racer, I think TrailBeast made some great recommendations above with a mild 318 (or 360) build. Very reliable, not too bad on gas ( but not as good as a slant six ), parts are accessible and they are easy to work on. You're...

New Wheels Finally Showed Up - Torq Thrusts 72 Duster

That's one bada$$ looking Duster. Nice selection on the wheels. I don't think it's a stock color, but it looks great.

    School me on this intake

I understand the LD4Bs are great for 273s/318s if you can find a good one, but if you're going to run a 360, you might want to look for an Edlebrock Performer intake. My understanding is that the port match between a performer and 360 is a little better than with the LD4B. Compare the port...

Should I get a new master cylinder?

Don't forget to take your old master cylinder to the parts store when you buy the new one as they usually have a core charge.

    vintage Mags questions

I'm not an expert, and maybe they are worth more, but I would guess you could probably get around $20 to $25 per wheel in unrestored condition (6" wide is somewhat narrow in my opinion). There is a cost in time and/or money in restoring them to original condition. Keep in mind that most of these...

    Opinions on 318 Needed

My opinion, look for an inexpensive 360/727 combo with low mileage. A stock 318 will give you a little more HP than your slant 6, but a 360 will give you more to work with down the road.

What the Wife dragged home today.

Nice looking Dart. Now get to work and make it the daily driver she's dreaming of.

    Tire Size

The P245/60 R14s look great on the rear of a Duster and should clear with no problem. I tried them on a stock 72 Scamp and they were a no-go due to scraping the fender skirts. I only had a 3.5" backspaciing on my 14x7 wheels, so with a little more backspacing, they may have fit. Not sure if a...

    Air Shocks

Thanks guys, all good inputs. I remember having air shocks on my A Body when I was younger and I do recall the rough ride, especially over speed bumps. Sounds like they haven't changed much over the years.
