Glad that you had good luck with them, I didn't. Maybe something has changed over there for the better. Had problems with them 2 times in a row, and their customer service was absolutely no help. Maybe the bad caused a change to good.

I would replace the plug with a radiator drain type. They are brass based.

Get your ducks lined up for clearance. Along with the inlet/outlet issue, there's 3/4" difference between the aluminum and cast iron pump.

Find a good original sender, I haven't had any luck with new ones.
