I pLan on DRopping a 383 into my duster(74). it has a small block 360 in it now. and was just wondering. are there any major problems or suprises that would appear while doing this. such as clearance???? .and what headers would be best???? thanks
On my 74 my rear bumpers sticks out somewhat far and is not flush . .is there a way to bring it closer to the car. .such as remove something behind the bumper please let me know thanks

my friend and i are removing his slant 6 from his 70 swinger and dropping in a 360. i was wondering,can we use the trans from the six and use it on the 360? its not a high performance motor just a stock 360
i want to do this swap in a74 duster other than motor mounts wat other concerns should i have. .as far as fitting the motor goes. . ? i have power steering would i have to go manual , willl headers fit or would i have to keep stock manifolds or ould i go shorty headers? also pan clearance?
Im having the same prob. Your having . Oil pressure dropped to 0 at a stop light then went back up when hit the gas . . I live in san jose too . South san jose .maybe ill see that duster around somewhere
