    Hey tom
I saw your post about your Magnum into an old school car. I have a Magnum with the factory ECU I would like to put it in my old aussie Valiant. When I have the motor in and all set up with EFI connected to the wiring loom and the factory ECU?
You only use your original ammeter face and the needle. You need to buy a Sunpro #8215 aftermarket volt gage and use the sunpro gage guts, and your gage face, and clip n glue your needle in place. You cannot hook this up to the original ammeter wiring or you will blow it up. Hook your 2ammeter ring terminals together, preferrably solder and shrink tube them, and stick back in harness.

Hook the negative stud from the volt gage right to the metal gage housing, run the positive stud from the voltgage to a 12v gage panel feed.

Where the gage studs go thru the metal housing you will need to enlarge the hole for the + side stud, and install a plastic grommet to insulate that from case ground.

When old needle is glue installed to the volt gage, using a 12 v source and a digital ohm meter adjust the potentiometer on the volt gage guts to get the needle to where you want it to sit at 12v.

This is a brief overview. So its pretty basic.

Let me know if this helps
    Matt
