Thanks for the replies. I am thinking I am going to just run it as is. Engine run temps are good and I have seen some people even drill a small hole in the thermostat for other reasons without adverse effects

Maybe my thermostat housing has a cavity for the thermostat that is is larger than it needs to be… thought it was an aftermarket one that was true to the original specs/sizes.

I switched to Real Gasket for thermostat housing and valve cover gaskets. Like them and seal well. Only oddity I found was the thermostat rattles around loose in the housing. Think this is the result of the Real Gasket thickness… or is that normal for std gaskets too?

Do you mean you contacted your credit card company and cancelled it with them (since you were not getting any response from the company) I checked my credit card activity and they have not charged me yet for the order… Weird… Thanks for the reply

Hyper_pak did you ever get your parts you ordered from them? I placed an order with them online and got an order number when placing the order online but no email confirmation and every time I call them it goes to voicemail... anyone know if they are still in business?

Any chance you have the inspection door piece only that you would sell? I have the dust cover minus the inspection cover plate so looking for one
