New guy with M300 mini motorhome.

WOW! That is gorgeous, one of the best I have ever seen. I'd say the first steps is getting it to run! Have you had any luck? I have a 440 but I am a little familiar with the Ignition/Electrics side of things now so i'll do as much as I can to help!

QUESTIONS ABOUT MOTOR HEALTH [Oil Smell, Coolant Temps, Black Spark Plugs, Loud Alternator]

Well I had flooding issues before because I tried to rebuild the carb and messed it up LOL. Got that resolved. And yes it is in the motorhome, Unsure of miles on motor sadly. Hopefully it didnt get washed, I haven't noticed any odd smoke or anything of sorts. I don't believe its overheating as...

QUESTIONS ABOUT MOTOR HEALTH [Oil Smell, Coolant Temps, Black Spark Plugs, Loud Alternator]

Hey! This forum has been super helpful so far and I love it. I had a few more questions/concerns about my 440-3's Health. 1. My brand new spark plugs are CHARRED/BLACK on the tips, I'm thinking its a bad air/fuel mix but I'm not too sure. 2. Coolant POURS out on shutdown, I need to get an...

    ELECTRICAL GREMLINS [OVERCHARGING 440-3]

I see I see, so the simplest solution is to purchase a new dual field alternator... Makes me wonder if I could take my current alternator and just make it a single wire setup?

    ELECTRICAL GREMLINS [OVERCHARGING 440-3]

Would It matter if my motor is a 74? I know all of the 70+ charging systems are the same BUT I'm just curious. But to sum it up... my alternator is fried pretty much?

    ELECTRICAL GREMLINS [OVERCHARGING 440-3]

This is super insightful thank you so much, I am a little confused however [im super new to all of this] So, if my issue is the GREEN wire being grounded out internally, how can I go about fixing that? It looks IDENETICAL to the 2nd alternator you sent with the blue circle. So I guess it is...
