Hey everyone, I have a 727 and I replaced the Neutral Safety Switch (3 prong) when I rebuilt the tranny from a couple months ago and I bought it from autozone. Now the damn thing is leaking from the body of the switch (not from the threads where it threads into the tranny) .

You're probably right, the car was on such a pass I was sort of guessing when letting off the button as I felt like I was hanging on for life lol It could of been closer to the last 50ft or so, not sure

Ideally I think it would be good to only have smooth part on the bushing. With the 5 inch bolt I bought I think 7/8 or all of the smooth part fit within the bushing without me doing any modifications to it.
It could of been 9/16 instead of 7/16 but I don't remember off the top of my head. Either way it seems like most aftermarket stuff requires the 5/8 hole
