I had a one owner 1963 that had the gold on the passenger side. I had always heard that they represented the 5 year 50000 mile warranty that started that year?
They did not make Convertibles in 330 and 440 models, only Polara and Polara 500. Production numbers are hard to find but I have seen on the net are a total of 37,600 Polaras were built that year. No breakdown of convertibles. Polara 500 was considered its own model and a total of 7263 were...
Nice 1963 Polara 500 Convertible. Paint, chrome, suspension done in 2006. Original big block 383 and push button 727 trans rebuilt at that time. Disc brake conversion. First 40 years it was a San Diego California car. Very little rust ever. Runs and drives excellent. Located in Stoughton...

I have a 72 Slant 6 Duster that I'm using the conversion mounts to put in a LA 360 with a 727 trans. Does the 727 fit the trans tunnel? Will the slant trans crossmember/mount be usuable? If not is there a crossmember that will work or am just fabbing up something?
thanks
