I bought:
Pair of 1967 273 four barrel valve covers - $200
1968-69 340 intake - $80
New Mopar offset master cylinder adapter - $50
Cruise control turn signal stalk - $25
Parts are still in the basement of the RV. Might be there for a while as they aren't in the way in there.
Oh, and walked through our front door right about 6pm. All in all a very good weekend. Spent a lot of time talking with friends and looking for parts. It did seem like turnout was low, but people were buying...
Sold a few parts and bought a few. Camping out at the park with our newly acquired diesel pusher was great Friday night. Early this morning, however, was a different story (not the fault of CPW or anybody else associated with the show). We had a knock on the door at 3:30. LAPD. Seems a guy had...
Steve does that every year...
We're probably gonna put the parts away early in the morning (around 9) and head back out to the show. We'll hang out a little longer.
No price and if it's not pennies on the dollar it's not worth the effort. There is so much to sort through to even start to figure out what's in there. Just the effort to pick everything up is overwhelming.
I was looking at that earlier today. Scheduled Production Date two days after my wife's '68 convertible, but at a different plant. Red letters like my wife's car had originally as well. Plus the side stripe.
Can't go by my car. All front end sheet metal was replaced in 1970. The hood on ours is a '69 as pointed out by HemiSSDart when he stopped by the house several weeks ago. The letters were better than yours, but still not quite straight. My fenders are worse. We'll be addressing this when we do...
Ok, the car won't be making it (not the car's fault). We'll be in the swap. Anybody want to share our oversized space? We'll be there Friday for early setup. At least that's the plan.
We might be bringing a slightly undone A-body. It is painted, though...and the sway bar is now installed instead of lying on the floor. Gotta find another headlight, even though we aren't driving it...
That's why I have long advocated for the 360. It got a bad reputation due to being released at the beginning of the smog era and not having a performance option until 1974. I remember conversations in the early 1980s with people degrading the 360 as worthless. I knew they were mistaken...
