Ok if I use a Offy from ebay what's the advantage to a long runner vs the shorter manifolds and also what is a good carb to use Donnie

I am working on a 225 that's .060 over nothing real exotic it's a 68 cuda convertable the bad part is someone put a 383 in it and made a muscle car out of it so I been putting it back to what it was ordered from factory Donnie

I just put a crate motor in and noticed the shop manual calls for .010 for the intake and .020 for the exhaust but my packing info said to set at .010 and .012 thinking of setting them at .013& .015 prior to starting the engine up for the first time don't want to hurt any thing after things warm...

I'm at a stand still till I can find another 6 prong head light plug I can splice in I have a 68 barracuda that use's a 1 5/8 inch rheostat I got a new switch but the plug is fried that clips on to it :banghead::banghead:

seem to have a bad short to tail lights not working no power to rear at all to brake lights or tail lights or turn signals

Ok let me try this again with a better discription of my problem there is a slightly threaded hole about .600 in dia directly behind #6 exhaust port on head I don't know what its for or what it does can I block it off ??? I cant find any thing on it in the book Thanks K-DOG
