My friend is willing to give me an A body 8 3/4 diferential with that 489 casing, but he gave the bolt away long time ago. So I need to get new one to put there.

Here's the one I acquire not long ago. Looking to drop a 408 in there with some 3.91 gear, refresh the paint, new vinyl top, clean the interior etc. Lots of fun year ahead for me and my 2 sons, I hope. way more pictures in my Welcome post here near the bottom...

Well for now I'm just looking for a few easy upgrade to keep me happy till the end of summer, BEFORE I go all out on the 360 stroker this winter. Thats when the fun will really kick in.

thank for all that info. ProStreetDuster, I'll be getting the 360 block from the guy that sold me the car along with an A body 8 3/4, but its an empty housing. He does have an empty 489 case that I'm trying to get also. Was thinking a spool wih 3.55 or 3.91. Not planning on long highway...
