I am doing a front disc conversion on my 65 Wagon. I already have all the SBP KH parts from Hemi71, but as I understand it still need a proportioning valve and dual chamber master cylinder. I'm not always the best at grasping what I've read. Would this be a good fit or am I looking for a...
Higgs,
Right now everything is stock spec for a Carter BBD. I don't know what those specs are. If anyone knows that would probably help! ;)
Edelbrock actually gave me some recommendations for if I move to a performer 500. They told me to go 8% lean using a main of .098, rods .073 x .052, and...
Anybody have a some friendly recommendations? I've read on a few Jeep forums that Edelbrock jets will fit into the BBD just fine. I'm currently running stock 2BBL intake manifold and Carter BBD on my 65 Dart 273. I've done the best I can to tune this thing and I just can't get it right. My next...
Hopefully nobody minds me hijacking this thread a little bit, but I figured this is the best place to post since it is a current thread on the filter adapter. How do you get the thing off? Mine is leaking oil. Does it just twist off like a standard filter? I didn't want to just start tugging on...
No worries. At least I made the connection at the hardware store. I went ahead and bought both just in case, but I was pretty sure it was 1/2" when the 7/16" didn't fit the 3/4" socket I grabbed off the rack for checking.
And of course, wouldn't you know it that the damn washer went missing...
Yeah, that's the guy! Thanks everyone for the help in tracking this down. Saves me from having to go home and wrench before heading to the hardware store.
I just finished putting in my new FirmFeel stage 3 power steering box. Part of that process included disconnecting the driver side motor mount. I have the washer, but the nut has magically disappeared.
Can anyone tell me the interior/exterior dimensions and the threading so the I can stop at...
Well, I didn't get it done this weekend because UPS delayed my steering box delivery. Hopefully it arrives today.
Well that sounds like it'll be fun! Any tips on getting those bolts out without breaking the hidden nuts? I'll definitely spray them down with some penetrating blaster. If they end...
Definitely not a bad idea. I was considering getting a 12v heater from harbor freight if I couldn't get this one sorted out soon.
12V Auto Heater / Defroster with Light
My recommendation to improve your idea is make sure the heater has analog controls and get a Belkin Wemo switch on your...
I was going to go with JB-Qwik as suggested by trailbeast, but then I realized it meant another trip to the store and I just didn't have it in me. LoL I went with what I've got on hand, QwikSteel. I used some painters tape from the outside to trace the openings and give myself a guide. Then I...
