Thanks for taking the time to respond!!! I really appreciate this information and will plan on replacing the cloth with the hardboard or molded headliner and get the clips you linked. I have my seats out so it should help make the install go a little easier I would think. Thanks again.
Thanks for the info. It sounds from what you said the hardboard liner will work, but not so much if it is an aftermarket headliner? I guess I had better start looking because I doubt if there are too many original headliners sitting out there any more in good condition or NOS. Thanks again...

I am trying to convert my father's restored 1962 Valiant, 170 /6, 4 door from manual to power steering as it is getting too hard for him to steer with the manual set-up.
I purchased from one of the members on FOAB what I thought was supposed to be everything I needed to convert over to power...
Looking to find someone that has a power steering set-up for my 86 year old father's restored 1962 Valiant 4 door 170 ci 6 cyl . Manual steering is getting too hard for him to handle.
