I'm looking at possibly purchasing a 1971 340 motor, the seller has it listed as "*Motor is cast in 70 but marked as a 71 block" . So I what exactly does that mean. I want to installed it on a 1971 Demon.

I have a 1971 H code 340 4 speed Demon, all original execept it has a 1969 stock 340 motor. My question is would it be worth looking for a 1971 340 knowing its still will not be numbers matching but correct year or leave it with the 69 motor.?

is the spacers that you are referring to; are those going to give the look like if the tires are sticking out of the wheel well. Don't care for the doughnut type of appearance on a car.
1971 Demon 340 4 speed, no power brakes drums all around, want to convert to big bolt pattern and stay with drum brakes. What is involved and where is the best places to get the parts...salage yards, auto parts etc.

ok guys, driving my 1971 Demon on the interstate after swapping rear ends, went from a 3:91 to a 3:23 it has a 340 4 speed anyway I had the phone with a speed odometer ap showing the actual speed and from 0 to about 20 MPH the speed were pretty even but as a picked up speed the reading became...
Has anybody order any exhaust parts from Classic Industries? I'm looking to order both left and right head pipes 2 1/4 inches for my1971 Demon 340 4 spd with original manifolds. Would like to see any positive or negatives inquires about them.

1971 Dodge Demon 340 have original manifolds on it, the left side down pipe is 2 inches and it seems very titght around the clutch and starter in fact who ever had it before me looks like they had to smash and squeese around that area to make it work, the right side is 2.25. what is the original...
just swap my center chunk on my 1971 Demon from 3:91 to a 3:23, everything went good, question I have is what determines when I would need to adjust the axles?
