I used a flat body plug from Menards/Lowes and used a heat gun to get it to conform to the fender. It's not perfect, but it will get me by for less than $2-.

So, did the woodgrain texture come out completely? I just sanded and tried repainting my glove box cover (73 Dart) and though the woodgrain color is gone, the woodgrain texture is still there. Looks bad (in a bad way)!

If you decide to part it, I am looking for a battery relocation kit with a sealed box, perhaps more, but not sure what else you might have.

Is that the electronically controlled trans or is it like a 1995 down non-electronically controlled trans? Wish you were closer.

I put the Jegs kit on my Hooker Header equiped Dart Sport. One of the over-the-axle tubes is pretty tight, but I would sure buy it again. Less than $200 when I ordered mine few years ago.
