looking for a set of the new zealand casting eq heads(la) or a set off indy la x heads.

Those rockers would be ideal...but the rules I have to go by state I can use a steel roller tipped rocker only.

I am using the stud setup rather than stock pedestal rockers

I'm not talking about the scrub or pushrod length....I'm talking about getting the best guide plate to center the rocker from side to side.

Who makes the best guide plate as far as getting the roller tip centered over the valve tip on the magnum head?

My old man and grandpa stuck an old 301crank into a LA 318 years ago and it worked just fine. They did this because the class they raced in had a 305 ci limit. We still have it..it just needs freshened up. I'm pretty sure it has an 8 bolt crank though...becuz we have an 8 bolt aluminum...

Are the bearings interchangeable? Could I use the newer bearings in older block or vice versa?

I need to order main bearings for my 71 360. As I recall there was something different between the early 1970s 360s and newer ones but what is it?

Just wondering if anybody has used these on these heads and how the geometry is??? Thinking about getting a set of 1.6's because the prw ones I got are junk. My rules specify steel rockers only so my options are very limited.
